    Teh Dark Canuck Build

Since my very first 86 I've always wanted a black/black kouki. I had to scoop it up. This is #7.
Bought the car off Cromey. As it sits it's got a blown bluetop.
    It's nice. The paint shines.

The Blue Ranger has got completly out of control with rice and I've always wanted to build the "JDM" "mild tune" 86.
This will be done in like 3 years. I'm in no rush and I'll probably keep this thing for a long time.

    I'm keeping all of this.

As it sits. OEM bumpers got donated to the Blue Ranger.

    Not bad at all...
This is the worst the car has. Everything else is nice. Easy fix.

Origin Levin fenders and front. I don't know if I'll use this. I'll probably rock pop-ups for a bit.

    PARTS!

    Bee-R Wheel.

Thanks to Mac for the hookup on these.

Brake rebuild kits. Misawa on C4ag.

Ya. It was me. (Scott is a friend of mine so all I had to do was ask (and give him an extra hundred) Sorry I guess, but business is business)
    15x7.5 -2, 15x8 -0
These will be sold to Vickers if he ever gets a job. I mostly bought them so he could have a set. I'll probably go to 15x9 -15 Meisters in white when the time comes.
    Sold To Migs

    ENGINE!

I've been buying parts for this for like 5 years! I knew someday I would use them. Some of it has a lot of dust.
I'll throw a bluetop in to get it running while I build the engine.

What I've got: (real actual parts sitting in my shop, not just fanboy dream parts lol)
    288,298 Colts
    TRD valve springs
    Cam gears from some Honda
    AE111 Block
    AE101 ITBs
    Toda 3.7kg flywheel
    Centerforce clutch

I still need management, ITB adapters and stacks. I'll probable go MS and build the rest. Pistons and a headgasket too, I haven't decided what to go with.

I want to make it rev to 10k and have it make no power. Should be easy enough.

I'm excited to see what you make of this car. I have a feeling I'm going to build another street Corolla down the road, but not for many years.

Nothing personal towards you, but if you get down to it business is business and agreements are agreements. money sent = agreement I dont see it any other way.

Sorry to vent in your thread but i wound be super pissed if i was on the other end of that. Its just BS.

I keep telling Kevin to buy those tails for his coupe, they come up very seldom on YAJ though. Looks like a nice build.

Rare. I've only seen like 5 sets come up on c4ag and here.
There are zenki redlines too...I've never even seen a picture of them other than the ones in the Toyota brochure scans. They probably don't even really exist.

I got some 195/50s on the longchamps over the weekend.

Things happened. For some reason it got towed. It was sitting in a parking lot for like 2 years with no bumpers and no plate, I guess someone finaly got mad lol. I haven't even worked at the place for a year. Mom was right.
    $300 later
It's at my house now. So I think I'm going to start working on it...
I'm at least going to throw the aero on so it dosen't take up room in my garage.

    Rims are now SSR MK-III. 15x9-12 R and 15x8.5 +10? (spaced) F.

    Pair here.

Stock roll in the rear maybe?? I'm leaning to Origin flares again. I'll see how it looks.
