    Couple pictures kinda update.

Finished up my chassis wiring today minus the routing of the ignition and starter leads. I plan to run those with the engine harness, so I have to wait until I have that all finished.

Wired in a few weather pack connectors to make everything simple to disassemble. But those things are a pain in the ass to work with at times, luckily I was smart and spent good money on a quality crimp tool. Made things a little easier.

Painless switch panel is an awesome piece. Super simple to wire in.

Anyway, I have some terrible cellphone pictures. Will take lots more when the real camera is working.

Oh, the head and block went to the machine shop today. Just getting the block honed/re-surfaced, and getting the head resurfaced as well. Should have it back in a couple weeks and then I can re-assemble it. Much excite!

Warren and I parted out an 81 e7 sedan last weekend and I snagged a few things.

    -Front end(headlights/grille/bezels)

    -Rad support

    -Dash stuff

    -4 link stuff/complete

    -Door panels

Today I pulled my front end apart, drilled out the spot welds on the stock rad support, then bolted the one from the parts car in, so now it's a removable until, which is pretty cool. Then put the square lights in. Started painted the tan dash stuff charcoal grey. Will put a suede pad on the dash.

    Rad support in.

Square lights, Im a big fan. Also less upsetting if i put the front end into a wall.

E7 dash in, currently painting it, so I dont have pics.

Motor should be back from the machine shop this week.

The other squares had the big cheese wedge corner markers.

You did in fact help, I keep forgetting you're on DK.

Car was not bad for the price considering it was running/driving.

Got the engine bay and dash painted and installed. Only have 2 ****ty pics, but it looks really good in person.. The engine bay only has one coat in this photo.

Next on the list is to remove the fuel cell and all the fuel lines, then build an enclosure for the cell, and make new fuel lines. Hopefully going to use braided stainless and proper AN fittings.

remember for fuel, there only so much stainless allowed to be used. use as much hard line as you can and use stainless lines for the really tricky bits. i know derek has a lot of knowledge on these fuel cells and all their associated issues.

Yeah it's still going to be mainly hardlines, just want to replace the soft line I have now with stainless. The way I have the lines and pump now is pretty much how it will stay, but I need to sort out the tank vent. That's the tricky part.
