FS: 1989 2wd Toyota truck (Edmonton, Alberta)

Hello everyone! I haven't posted here for a good 10 years or so. But I would like to sell something if you don't mind.

    Here is some info:
349k and going strong! 22r carbureted
5speed manual (shifts great, clutch holding good)
canopy with locking glass door (i have the keys)
4 winter tires with good tread
6x9 speakers and aftermarket speakers in the dash
    CANOPY IS NOT INCLUDED

Things I have replaced in the last 50k kms
    -all belts.
-starter and alternator (less than a year old. only replaced as preventive maintenance)
    -timing chain, guide and tensioner
    -right front wheel bearing.
    -radiator
    -heater motor resistor.
-changed engine oil every 3000 to 5000 kms
    -idler bearing
    -waterpump
    -thermostat
    -power steering high pressure hose.

    Pros:
-runs great! when engine is warmed up tho
    -does not burn oil.

    cons:
    -RUST!!
-minor oil leak at front main seal. I've never seen the oil level drop on the dipstick though.
-steering stops are worn... I just avoided making turns without turning the steering wheel all the way.
    -crack in windshield
-has a cd player but the cd part does not function.
-carbs can use a rebuild or adjustment. It starts fine cold, but doesn't drive well. Engine bogs when you give it too much gas. Once the engine is at operating temperature, she runs great! Probably some sort of stuck open choke.

    Spare parts:
    -2 extra rims with tires.
-working old oem starter and alternator.
    -oil filters and some oil.
    -new front brake pads.

I've owned this truck for 7 years and it has NEVER let me down! I'm really really really sad to see it go. I would prefer to sell it to someone on this forum that would keep on driving it. With that being said, I am asking $50, BUT mention that you are a DK member and promise me to not part this truck out!

Please text, call, or email if you are interested. I prefer if you don't pm me..And make sure you mention dorikaze, and I will give you a better deal.

    my name is Taka

    phone: 780-710-8252 (call or text)
    email: takahirano@hotmail.com

    Thanks!

yes.... but it still lives! Runs and drives good still! I've been getting a lot of offers from people who want to take it to the scrap yard. I really don't want it going to the crusher. someone must need a LEMONS race truck! Weight reduction already included!

To bad this isn't a Saskatchewan unit. I 100% would have taken it to haul materials and such for my house I'm building. One thing Forsure. I am jealous good luck to the new owner.

I sold the canopy off the truck for $100... So Price dropped to $50! Or a 48 pack of coke zero! Also, truck will have to be picked up by 6:30 pm tonight, because I will be leaving town for 10 days.
