    FS: My non-Toyota AWD

    Vehicle Details
    Year : 2002
Make and Model : Subaru WRX
    Exterior Color : WRB
    Interior Color : Black/Blue
    Auto or Manual? : Manual
    Odometer Reading : 230k km
Location of Vehicle : Calgary NW

Description : The car was originally owned by a fellow who worked in Edmonton but lived in Calgary, most of the mileage came from those trips. Original paint, no rust or accident history. Very clean. When I bought the car it was completely stock. I modded it for winter autox, where the locked rear diff works very well. It's a bit chunky for daily driving in the summer though.

I've only put about 10 000km on it in almost three years of driving, and it's been well looked after. There are no leaks, burns no oil, makes good compression, and the suspension is tight. Heated seats, but no AC.

The car placed 1st and 2nd overall by a significant margin at one winter autox last year, on run of the mill studded tires. The diffs work very well on loose surfaces... but they make the car a bit of a handful for daily driving. I'm selling because I bought another FR car.

    Extras :
    -Ohlins coilovers with 7/5kg/mm springs
-Inverted Bilsteins with STI springs and Group N Top mounts.
-all new poly bushings with the exception of the four rear control arms.

    -Whiteline 24mm adjustable rear bar
    -Aluminum Gacchiri support
-group N top mounts and engine mounts
    -magnesium Speedline Acropoli 15 6.5J +35 + studded Sailun's less than 3000km on them

    -4 pot front calipers
    -Hawk HP+ pads
    -braided lines

    -Fidanza flywheel
    -Exedy Clutch
    -Torsen front LSD
    -Locked rear differential

ad says Speedlines, but I don't really care which set. Just want car gone.

The Harts have Toyo R1R's with like 1200km on them. The Watanabe's have Conti DWS with 3000km on them.

It is a wicked car, I'm crazy for selling it but it's just what I do. Really needs nothing and won't disappoint. When I say it's a handful for summer driving, it's really just an earful... but most AE86 guys get parking lot chirpy tires...

...if not, I have a stock viscous on a greyhound from Nunavut right now.

Now you've scared me off haha how loud is it? i guess i need to come see it... I'm sick of driving my truck in the winters around town. I only have a 5km drive to work and back but something like this would be fun. I really want to winterX with something. My cars are currently loud but not straight pipe loud...

The intake/exhaust is super quiet actually. What is loud is the tires chirping and chunking in parking lots... but in the winter with snow and ice or even just gravel on the road it's much less of a thing.

Car is very good for winter auto-x... but you'll have to ask in person about that. Just seems like internet BS here.

Monday I start parting it though. Giddy up

Everyone wants the Racing Harts. If I had $10 for every person who asked about them I would have paid for my new car by now.

Whole car sold today, with the Racing Harts.
