    80's kid nostalgic PC games

Just discovered this website of 80's/early 90's DOS games that I used to play as a kid. Some of these games.. such 8bit graphics.. wow nostalgic.. so early 90's... much fun

    http://www.classicdosgames.com/online.html

NOTE: Need java installed to play these in a browser

One of the earliest DOS games I've ever played was ZZT http://www.classicdosgames.com/online/zztfull.html

    Others I played were:

Corncob 3D(first combat flight simulator I ever played, been hooked on them ever since)
Zone 66 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zuwIQ3Y6ck first part of the intro, so awesome)
Wolfenstein 3D(my dad played this but didn't let us, too violent he said, lolz)
Skunny: Save Our Pizzas (so bad)
    Skyroads(loved it!!!)
    The Adventures of Captain Comic(meh)
Commander Keen(all of them, so good)
    Crystal Caves(meh)
    Dark Ages(meh)
Decent(so amazing for it's time, actually passed the whole game)
    Earthworm Jim(kinda fun)
    Dukenukem(lol)
    Galactica(fun)
    The incredible machine(creative fun)
Invasion of the Mutant Space Bats of Doom(the name itself is incredible)
    Jazz Jackrabbit(I had fun)
Jetpack(so much time spent on this)
    Jill of the Jungle(meh)
    Killoblaster(fun)
Monuments of Mars(good but so frustrating)
    Night Raid(higher levels are impossible)
    Overkill(SO GOOD imho)
    Pharoh's Tomb(ok)
Raptor Call of the Shadows(One of my all time favourite games, going to play it again for sure!! Love these arcade top down jet games)
    Scubaman's Quest(meh)
    Secret Agent(so fun)
Solar Winds(SO MUCH TIME SPENT BECAUSE IT WOULD ALWAYS CRASH JUST AS I WAS ABOUT TO FIND THE SECRET TO THE STORY!!)
    Wacky Wheels(basically mariocart for PC)

And... the earliest game I ever remember playing was Rodents Revenge which came with windows 3.1. Yes we had a packard bell 386 as our first computer. Looking back on this it was the pretty unreal to have a PC at the time lol.

For me the earliest pc game I played was called "Joust." But we were playing Coleco and intellevision long before. Games took a while to reach Victoria back then.

Oddly, I just found a stash of ps1 games with my turbografx yesterday.

Or you could have said "sorry, my kidnap victims keep kicking my elbow, it made me drop my crack pipe and swerve"

Haha King's Quest. I had one of the later versions of Space Quest on our first PC, a 286 with 8mhz with turbo button that boosted it to a hyperbolic 12mhz!! That was when I lived in Nanaimo. The one I spent the most time on was Wing Commander II...lol.

When I went to school in South Wellington, the school had a C64. That thing was straight off the ark, except there was only one of them so they couldn't mate. Load *.*!!!

^^yeah, played monkey island at a friends house. Was sweet! had this crazy wheel decoder to prevent piracy. Genius idea actually

Most of the games I played were on those $5 CD's you could buy at radio shack that were The Best Of DOS Games, they were shareware versions though

Oh man, I just played Solar Winds again and found the missing 2nd episode that completed the story! Beat it in an hour where as it took me a month to beat the first one as a kid lol

The incredible machine was awesome and actually highly creative. Basically building Rube Goldberg machines on a computer.

Commander keen Goodbye Galaxy was an all time favorite! so many secret passages and hidden areas.. the pyramid...
