BCWORKS - Manual Brake Adapters/Brake Booster Delete

I got a few extra booster delete plates. They allow you to bolt on a early 70s Datsun master (3/4" bore).

    Pros:
    Stiffer pedal
    More feel
    Easier to modulate
    More space
    Less weight

    Cons:
    Stiffer pedal
Only one of your legs will look buff

In extreme driving conditions I find a power assisted brakes hard to modulate. It feels like pedal height controls braking power. Hard to keep steady when you are bouncing around jumping your car. Once I converted to manual brakes I found that the pedal pressure controlled braking power. Much easier to modulate.

    Datsun masters:
Going down in bore size on the master gives you some more leverage/LIQUID ADVANTAGE(steve), making the pedal a little softer. Early 70s Datsun came with 3/4" bore. Rock auto will sort you out as they list bore size. Pictured below are Datsun trucks. I like them because of the dual reservoirs.

Is my stock clevis/rod long enough?
Nope. Different masters require different lengths. Grinding down the head of a long M8 bolt is a very easy solution.

If I am a little bitch and the pedal is too stiff?
You can re drill the pedal pickup higher. If your drill isn't too heavy.

raising the master and redrilling the hole for the pin 1/2 higher will help a lot with the stiffness,
boosterless pedal feel is awesome, nice product

Every corolla owner should do this. The rubber in your brake boosters is getting 30 or more years old. Toss it and freshen up your brakes to future-proof status.

Or you could have said "sorry, my kidnap victims keep kicking my elbow, it made me drop my crack pipe and swerve"

I'd be into picking one up if you make more. I loved the manual brakes on my old Jeep.

I've been using one of these for about 6-7 months now. It's great.

Best part is it eliminates that judder when you just press normal brakes down and come to a complete stop... you know? No modulating to stop that issue anymore.

Also it will 100% lock the brakes up if you jam on the pedal, pressing down to get the brakes to work is about the same pressure as say, climbing a ladder or stair case?

+1 for Warren I grabbed one of the first batch. Always great products, and if you sweet talk him you can get a sticker, and we all know that's what's life's about. Stickers!
