Some more of the car going together
got any pics of the header mounted?
where did you modify the header to clear linkage?
Pete
Thanks alot for getting those pics up! Im not too good with a computer.
Ill get some more pics of tge header. I had to cut all six runners at the flange and shorten them all by about an inch and a half
cool, would love to see the pics of that.
what about gauges you doing anything special there?
Pete
No at some point the people before me chopped a hole in the dash and put in somr super cheap sun pro guages. I need to fix it and do something else but haven't figured out what. My avatar pic is the tach when I put in the 6cyl and it was reading high but ive since fixed it
there is NO room in that engine bay. I Like it. any overheating problems?
How was the wiring? Ive got a 7M to wire up here shortly as well..

very cool project.
How do you have historic plates with an engine swap? Nice car.
Yeah that thing is stuffed in there pretty good. Im using an aluminium 2row radiator for a corona and on hot days the car runs about 205 degrees. It hasn't overheated but it can get a bit warm.
The wiring on it was veey easy. There's only a couple of pins that need power. If you'd like I could pm you some pics when you decide to wire up your 7m
In Arizona any car over 25 years old can get historic plates. Its weird when you see an 80's accord with them or a Mitsubishi mighty max. When I took the car through emissions they didn't even pop the hood. I found that suprising considering how loud it is. The emissions standards for early 70's cars here is almost nothing, I'm suprised they even make you go.
Brett - do you have a thread on here about your 7m project? I'd like to check it out
on my 7m swap I just hacked some supra gauges to fit a spare celica housing i had.
wouldn't mind redoing it abit cleaner. but it works so it is far down the list.
