yeah my hatch is a bit expensive but it's my "if I had to sell it" price. I had it up 2 years ago with jdm bumpers and a silvertop, some guy from Richmond offered me 13k for it... got too real and I kept it to enjoy some more. I'm not in a rush to sell so it'll be around, might even get a couple more events in

Good point. I saw his vids at the Mission track and it looks fun as hell.

That's the one, with the 1.8 stroker kit. I looked around for his phone number and texted him, he told me that he sold it already.

Yeah it was in 2013 with a 20v motor. Last year's vids is from the coupe. But 180k motor is pretty good. I can't remember which motor this one is from, but msg him and I am pretty sure any senior member can vouch for Duy.

Duy's car is probably the best bang for your buck out of all the AE86's on CL, he knows a ton about these cars and if you have seen any pictures of his builds you would understand how meticulous he is about them. +1 for Duy

I don't mean to rag on you bud, but I think your expectation of sub 160,000 km is really unrealistic. I've only seen 3 cars around that range and that was my black hatch (which had some rust) Les' black coupe which is also kinda rusty and Stefen's red hatch which was pretty damn near mint and he ended up selling it for like $7400 bone stock.

I would go for the lower priced car with high miles and a non-rebuilt engine every time.

You never know what "rebuilt" means to someone, or the quality of the job done.Plus it's a 4AG. Do people want their cars powered by stock 4AGs these days?

Sorry to those I have offended. Nothing wrong with a stock 4AG if your into that kind of thing.

I don't care about the chassis mileage aslong as the rust isnt too bad, 150-60k is ideal.
We trolled that guy right out of DK land. I even had him writing rage emails to me talking first about how he was going to sue me for slander, and later about how he was going to physically hurt me....LOL

He had a ****box 86 and was asking new car money for it, so we embarassed him to the point where he gave up trying to sell it.

nice it was originally grey too so a black repaint looks good, unlike red cars repainted to black

Matt T's daily 87 coupe is the best deal right now and although not 160,000km, the previous owner, an OG dker spared no expense to build it.

    GL with your search!

Kid who bought it isn't really mechanically inclined, he came to buy parts off me. He was more concerned with making it low and cool and doing "sick skidz"
