    Timing a 4AGE/20V

Let's talk 4AGE 20V Blacktop timing. When I used to time aircraft engines it was based off of the Intake/Compression/Power and Exhaust strokes. Does this apply to the 4AGE? I'm unsure. I did the timing on the 20V four/five years ago. So I need a refresher.

    The 20V FSM calls for:
    - Number 1 piston at TDC
    - Aligned crank/cams/oil pump
    - Distributor at number 1 cylinder position.
    - Base timing adjustments as per the FSM.

    Any tips, comments...
    Thanks!

Pop the cap off and make sure the rotor is sitting on cyl 1 contact. Sometimes caps are off a bit, even 180deg out.
