Bodyshops that work on 86s in the lower mainland

Does anybody know of any bodyshops that work in the lower mainland? a few weeks ago, some lady opposite of me made a left turn while I had a green and smoked me, ICBC faulted her 100% and gave me an estimate.

The damage ain't that bad but my hood is now obstructing my left pop up and the gap between my right pop up and hood has widened enough to let rain water though.

ICBC accredited shops won't touch it and I knowing me, I'd **** it up even more than before if I tried anything myself.Click image for larger version.

I did some searches and came up with places from '06, already contacted Rasta.

If insurance is covering it, I don't see why any ICBC accredited shops wouldn't fix it?

Thanks. Were you the fella that took a look at my Corolla? if so, I hope you find that Celica Supra rear end you were looking for.

Well, my dumbass bought it for "1200" on paper so the tax wouldn't hurt me bad, a boring old 1986 Corolla so the estimator quoted the damage around 16XX.XX, any more than the value of the car and he would have totaled it. Lesson learned.

ICBC accredited shops have a higher labour rate than the estimator quoted me for but the non accredited ones don't.

Nope, wasn't me. I rarely ever make the drive out to Vancouver and I sold my Celica Supra diff years ago.

You could try Big G's Autobody and Restoration in Abbotsford. I don't know if he's ICBC accredited but he's done work for me on my RA65 (metalwork and painting - cut out rust around the fuel filler door and painted/blended the quarter panel. He also did up a hood and sunroof panel for me.) I've been happy with it. I'm most likely going to have him repaint my whole car when I get the $ together. First round I went cheap with single stage paint cause the bodywork cost so much and I'm really regretting it now (this wasn't work he did though.)

I did. He and his apprentice Norman did an excellent job, looks even better than before, even ordered trims for me.

Thanks!, I didn't mention your username specifically but I did say that a friend with another 86 recommended him.
