Looks like you have a good base to start from. Any idea what lights are in that bumper?

Ahha, I got no idea what lights are meant to be in this aftermarket bumper its been a bit of a headache honestly. I got a pair of Kouki front bumper lights and welp their gonna need some modifications to fit, Also the wiring I`m trying to solve but all the old forums are so old and the images no longer show me how to re wire the round usdm connector to the JDM connector just because the images no longer exist sadly (Or I can not find them). I really did not want to just start asking been trying to use search on all the forums but no luck sadly.

Welcome. I know I have some pics somewhere of how I did it. I made the corner lights stay on constant with the little ambers and the centre was the signal. Let me see what I can find...

Oh man, don't modify the lights. They're getting expensive. IIRC, the kouki lights actually sit behind the bumper on those ones.

I was just going to use the old usdm wiring and also use spades to connected to the JDM Kouki connector and see that that would turn out with out modifying the OEM JDM Kouki Bumper light harness

Thank you and Happy to join a great forum, And the plans for the 86 my long term goal would be to make it something that would be tons of fun to drive though the curvy roads of the mountains, I really want boost because well its boost but I am loving the 20v ITBs the sounds and just everything about it I find so much fun and just different compared to everything else that I have liked before getting it. If I ever boosted it not sure how I would do so Sr20 Det or something different, But all that in mind its pretty far down the road.

Oh, I thought you meant modifying the housings themselves. lol.

If it helps, I seem to recall something about old lighter harnesses fitting the lights.

    Welcome to the forum man!

as said previously , Nice 86! As for the lights I would just take a light up voltage tester to figure out which wires are power and what is ground then use a 2 wire GM/pico weatherpak connector. Solved my issue when trying to rewire my turn signals and corner markers.

I can't find my pics. I know I made it a quick connect and cut the USDM ends off and got the butt connectors that fit into the JDM sockets. I wrapped them in tape and drove them for a while, no problems. This made it so I could removed them if I wanted to. I think Aaron is planning the same thing I did. I just used a test light to find when which ones were on. One wife needed to be split so the white light and little marker would stay on.
