custom door chime?

Saw this on the youtube and now I want to do similar to all of my cars....

Anyone (cough, cough, Sparkie) have any ideas on how to do it? The guy that made the video put together a kickstarter for things that plug into the car that has all of the crap including a speaker inside. I want to do it where it still looks stock and I can plug the chime speaker back in and use it without being annoyed.

Most people should be able to toss something together with an arduino, a speaker and some musical ability. It could even play the peppa pig theme.

So intercept the send and return to the dome light "door" switch circuit and wire your device in parallel with that, set to make noise the second it gets powered. You could literally put anything in there...

Will have to see if I can find the parts and if they will fit in the chime box if there is one on our cars? Or just grab an old control module and make it look stock. I want to have some good 80's tunes on them, no peppa pig...unless it's a cover of an 80's tune..
