Nope. This is one tid-bit I'm finally going to keep to myself.

I still wish I hadn't leaked the part number for the Black Limited Trueno emblem to the market...

just to clarify that having the one light on is not the normal operation of these tail lights.. both should be on as with our USDM tail lights.. on the Sprinter light harness, there isn't an extra plug to connect to.. just the big one that would connect to the cars wiring harness.. the USDM AE86 had an extra smaller plug that was connected to a plug that was in series with the cars sidemarker lights, JDM/ADM AE86's had no side marker so there was no wire to connect to the smaller plug. instead there is a extra pin on the Sprinter light harness plug that would connect to the cars wiring and light up that bulb. hope that makes sense ..

I think he's talking about the single red driving light in the picture vs. the normal two red driving lights....

So the "SPRINTER" doesn't normally light up? Reminds me of the SUNFIRE light. Looks cool.

??... migs, i am an engineering technologist graduate.. specializing in telecommunications.. I have knowledge in AC/DC electrical system and I know what I am talking about :P..

On the OEM Sprinter Light wiring harness, there is only ONE white plug (Large) with 6pins and on the USDM Light wiring harness there are TWO plugs, one large with 5pins and one small plug with 2pins. If you feed 12V into the smaller "2pin" plug, then the two RED lights will lightup and since our USDM AE86's have sidemarkers the wiring from it is connected to that 2 pin plug as well. On the Sprinter wiring harness there is no 2 pin small plug, the extra pin in the large plug is what provides 12V to that RED lights for parking light operation. In the Sprinter Light wiring harness, that 6th pin is doing absolutely nothing in our USDM Cars, which is why you probably only have the one light lit up

haha I know what you're saying, I was just messing with you!

Anyways....neat. I like it better when only one light is on as a marker anyways, makes for a more drastic and noticeable brake light when a second light suddenly illuminates
