    little progress tonight

Soooo much room without bashing the firewall when you don't use a distributor :-) there is well over an inch of clearance between the heater pipe and the firewall, oh yes this 20v will have heat!

isn't the heater core in the RHD cars in a different place and would thus be in the way of a 20 going in??!

btw, those valve covers that came off the 16v... are they for sale? they appear to be in really good shape!!

So for the ITB's... Are you going to use a stock ST ecu or a fuel management?

Not really sure but its kind of hard to see but I am still using the rear water housing except I am doing something different and only blocking off the thermostat and water inlet, its kind of a hybrid to what everyone else has done. I've looked over that water housing and the water path and I'm fairly confident this is going to work. heater inlet and outlet on the back of the head and rad inlet and outlet on the front using the 16v water pump and modded 20v head inlet

    Romel:

hehe there is not distributor visible, which means no ST ecu :-)

hehe its just temporary cause I couldnt get the pulley bolt off with the impact, have to get the transmission and driveshaft back on and then hit it with a pry bar

Steve, a good trick I had to use recently to get a crank pulley off out of car was fill the # 1 cylinder with rope. Rotate the crank till #1 is on its compression stroke, feed a long length of rope into the spark plug hole, then rotate the crank till it compresses the rope and you should be good to go to crack the pulley off with a pry bar. Just use lots of rope and make sure the valves are all shut. Worked great for me on a 5m and on a blue top.

awesome I'll have to remember that! I usually just leave a transmission and starter and use a battery to bump the starter :-) failing that a driveshaft and ebrake and a large bar works :-)
