The sad thing is that the suspension, brakes, and transmission are all shot.

It's probably going to be parted out

Yeah problem with Ontario cars is they rust like crazy, they get miled out because people drive 8 hours to get to work everyday and once theyre older than 5 years nobody maintains their car. might be a good car to race in that winter autox they have out there in Barrie. You could get into the ice racing thing Migs.

Nice to hear you got your hands on the car Migs! Is this gonna be your gf-mobile as you mentioned previously?

Sucks to hear that this fabled beast turned out to be AFM equipped. I guess no MAP based 4AGE reached this continent....

Migs, everyone and their cousins who have AE86 20V swaps in Toronto have C56 trannies for sale, I picked one up from one of the guys on TN for $100 and I believe Redrum (minesh) has one for sale also. I believe mike and Ryan(kp61) also might have transmissions for sale. As for clutches, I'm picking one up from Redrum and he still has one left.. very very cheap.

hahaha I know I know, but honestly I'd rather make use of my family's 82 Accord as a winter car instead of having my mom sell it to some random stranger. My grandmother bought that car brand new back when I was about to be born to help my mom care for me, so there's a lot of sentimentality that goes with it. That car needs basically no extra work, has been maintained all it's life, and is essentially the ideal winter car.

The prizm needs a completely new suspension, new brakes, not to mention a windshield, a tranny, a gas filler tube, and probably a bunch of other things that have never been replaced/maintained throughout it's abused life. I'd love to get the car going...but once again, I'm facing the issue of having too many cars!

At this point my only two options are to pull the engine and scrap the car, or sell the entire car to someone who will do all the work it needs (or even a full swap into another AE92).

I just REALLY hate to waste such a rare car

hahaha well, after sitting in the car and revving the engine a few times...I made a phone call.

The car is going into storage tonight.

    I'm stupid.

If anything from my ae92 sedan parts car would fit... lemme know because I'd rather give away parts to those I know than wreckers that love to rip people off.
